Two ways to do it. Both end with your data gone.
In the app
Sign in, then open Profile → Settings → Delete account. We send a confirmation link to the email address on the account. The deletion runs when you open that link, so nothing goes away by accident.
By email
No app installed, or no way to sign in? Email [email protected] from the address on the account, with the subject line “Delete my Mudl account”. We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
This path works with no app, no install, and no access to your account. If you write from a different address than the one on the account, we will ask you to verify ownership before we delete anything.
What deletion removes
- Your user record — name, email, and profile image.
- Your sessions, so every signed-in device is signed out.
- Your sign-in links to Google, Meta, and Apple.
- Your recipes, bar inventory, and ratings.
- Photos you uploaded.
What stays
Menus you scanned stay with their venues, without your name attached. They describe the bar, not you.
Backups are purged on their normal rotation, typically within 30 days. Until that rotation completes your data can still sit in a backup, which we use only to restore the service after a failure.
Revoking a third-party sign-in
If you signed in with Google, Meta, or Apple, you can also revoke Mudl's connection with the provider directly:
Revoking stops future sign-ins. On its own it does not delete anything Mudl already stores, so use one of the two paths above if you want the data gone.
