Gin and vodka, sharpened with Lillet and shaken hard. Fleming wrote it down in 1953; it drinks colder and brighter than a Martini.

Rye, cognac, vermouth, and a quarter ounce of Bénédictine, split between two bitters. New Orleans in a glass, named for the French Quarter.
