Near the back, a lit opening in the wall looks onto the bar. The rest of the room is bentwood chairs at small tables and stools lined along the bar, all of it washed red under one globe pendant. At 140 Roberts St Ste A, the cocktail list runs thirteen deep, $8 to $11: the Barrel Aged Toronto pairs Wild Turkey rye with fernet, Angostura and demerara aged forty days; the Corpse Thief cuts gin with Capertif, St. Germain, lemon and an absinthe rinse; the NC G&T pours Sutler’s or Dark Rhythm gin.
