Strange Magic

Strange Magic runs out of the back of The Lazy Diamond, marked by a red-flowered arch with its name glowing purple overhead. Past it, the room goes red: fringe curtain floor to ceiling, three round paper-globe pendants low over the bar, a wall of bottles under the same wash, and a velvet banquette along one side. It is a bar inside another bar, with its own name, its own door and its own calendar, which is most of what makes it worth finding. Look for the red arch behind The Lazy Diamond; that’s Strange Magic.
